Brand New original style 6V Starter motor,
complete with Modern Starter Drive.

Only for American flathead V8 with 112 tooth flywheel.

Not for English V8 with 144 tooth ring gear.
Most V8 Pilot's and other English models, have a different starter and flywheel configuration.

Note for 8BA Flathead V8:
The 8BA flathead is a bit tight when it comes to squeezing in the large modern starter drive.
To make the job easier, you can remove the starter plate and grind a small amount of the cast iron or steel intermediate housing.
This will allow the drive to fit between the ring gear and the intermediate housing.

Or, if you prefer, you can simply take the modern drive off and use the original one off your starter and will fit fine.
